First aid refresher course (8h)
April 12, 2025 | 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m
Location: Sportplatzgasse 660, 8970 Schladming - lecture hall on the ground floor
This course serves as proof of refresher training (of 8 hours) within the meaning of Section 40 AStV for company first aiders.
Contents are:
- Basics of first aid (rescue chain, emergency call, positioning,…)
- Motionless emergency patient
- heavy bleeding
- heart attack
- stroke
- Wounds
- Bone and joint injuries
A2 German Course
starting on 10th March 2025, Mittelschule Schladming
For participants who already have a good basic knowledge of German and experience in language learning. Practise extended vocabulary and grammar; consolidate speaking, reading and writing skills.
Textbook: Schritte PLUS NEU 3 Österreich, course book and workbook, Hueber Verlag. Please buy the textbooks as soon as it is certain that the course can take place! Course dates 2x per week: Monday and Tuesday.
10 course days, twice a week, MO & DI from 17:30 to 19:10
B1 German as a foreign language
starting on 12th March 2025, Mittelschule Schladming
This course is recommended for anyone who wants to further improve their language skills. We work on all language skills (writing, reading, listening, speaking), fill in the ‘grammatical gaps’ and practise systematically with model tests for the certificate.
Course book: Pluspunkt Deusch Leben in Österreich B1, KB+ AB, from lesson 1, Cornelsen Verlag (please only obtain the course book once it has been confirmed that the course can take place).
10 course days, twice a week, every Monday & Thursday from 17:30 to 19:10
Crash-Course German
starting on 26th March 2025, Mittelschule Schladming
In this course, students acquire knowledge and skills in the German language. The focus is on vocabulary in the catering and hotel industry on the one hand, and conversation in general on the other. Both aspects are particularly important for employees in tourism who are not native speakers of German.
Course book: Pluspunkte Beruf - A2/B1: Erfolgreich in Gastronomie und Hotellerie - DEUTSCH (please only obtain the course book once it is certain that the course can start).
8 course days, once a week, Wednesday from 15:45 to 17:45
Info-meeting
If the weather is bad, what can I do? What's new? At what time does the cable car run?
Our guests want to know a lot! At our info meeting, we provide the latest news and interesting facts at first hand. Participation is free of charge for employees in accommodation and gastronomy!
That was the information meeting on July 2, 2024
The highlight of the info meeting was the tour of the modernised mountain station with a look into the technical room, as well as the suspension bridge, the stairway to nowhere, the ice palace and the new sky ladder.
The most important news, developments and offers in the region for the coming summer season were then presented. Networking was another important part of the programme: At a get-together with a snack, participants were able to exchange ideas and make contacts.
That was the information meeting on July 6, 2023
The information meeting began with an introductory session and a tour of the brand new “Singletrack Haus-Aich”. Afterwards we went to the “Schladming-Dachstein Genusspartner” Gasthaus Grafenwirt in Aich. All important news, latest developments and offers in the Schladming-Dachstein region for the coming summer season were presented here.
An important part of the information meeting was also networking and the exchange of experiences, which took place during a cozy get-together with a snack. Here the participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas with each other, make contacts and network further.
